Stellar Ace Brings Chinese New Year to Life Across Singapore with Islandwide OOH Installations
- Media Release
Singapore, 12 February 2026 — This Chinese New Year, Stellar Ace has rolled out a series of festive Out-of-home (OOH) activations across Singapore, bringing cultural storytelling, interactivity, and brand presence into everyday commuter spaces islandwide.
Across bus shelters and key touchpoints, the activations demonstrate how OOH platforms can enhance the city’s festive atmosphere by adding vibrancy and relevance to daily journeys while maintaining strong visibility and accessibility throughout the season.

12 Zodiacs: Stellar Ace Turns Bus Shelters into a Citywide Zodiac Gallery
Stellar Ace, in collaboration with Lianhe Zaobao from SPH Media's Chinese Media Group, and Way Fengshui, has rolled out an islandwide Chinese New Year activation that turns bus shelters across Singapore into a Zodiac Gallery, highlighting how creative partnerships can transform everyday urban spaces.
The festive installation features the 12 Chinese Zodiac, each brought to life through a 2D die-cut illustrated panel across 12 bus shelters islandwide (refer to Annex A), with one zodiac character uniquely assigned to each bus shelter. Rolled out across key commuter and lifestyle districts including Orchard, Yishun, Esplanade, Bukit Batok, and Bedok, the activation delivers a cohesive yet distributed storytelling experience across Singapore’s streets.
By integrating festive storytelling into functional infrastructure, the zodiac installation demonstrates how OOH advertising can remain contextual, engaging, and unskippable, while delivering mass reach and high-frequency exposure.
Anchored in a shared objective between Stellar Ace, SPH Media and Way Fengshui, the collaboration demonstrates how familiar commuter spaces can be activated meaningfully, adding cultural relevance and festive context to everyday routines while maintaining strong visibility and accessibility.
Galloping Into a Stellar Year: Bringing Interactive Festive Moments to Bus Shelters
As part of the Chinese New Year activations, Galloping Into a Stellar Year was rolled out as a Stellar Ace initiative with participating brands TADA and Tan Mu Jiang, featuring bold, larger than life festive installations at selected bus shelters.
The activation centres on life-sized 2D die-cut visuals and poster executions across two bus shelter installations. Each installation presents brand-specific elements, combs for Tan Mu Jiang and cars for TADA, integrated to created immediate and recognisable brand presence.
Complementing the physical installations, a simple QR-code lead participation mechanic invites commuters to engage further by guessing the quantity of brand elements displayed. By anchoring the giveaway question around distinctive brand icons, the activation puts the brand in clear focus, reinforcing recall and visibility while adding engagement and festive context during the Chinese New Year period.

Chinese New Year Client Campaigns: Festive Brand Visibility Across Commuter Spaces
Alongside the festive installations, Chinese New Year–themed client campaigns have rolled out across Stellar Ace’s OOH network, enabling brands to align their messaging with the festive period through high-visibility placements.
Displayed across a range of commuter-facing touchpoints, campaigns from China Merchants Bank, Coca-Cola, Eu Yan Sang, foodpanda, IKEA, KFC, Longbridge, Maybank, McDonalds, Metro, New Moon, On Kee, and Skylight feature seasonal creatives and culturally relevant messaging designed to engage audiences as part of their daily journeys. Running concurrently with the 12 Zodiacs and Galloping Into a Stellar Year activations, the campaigns contribute to a cohesive presence across the network during the period.
By integrating brand messaging into familiar commuter environments, the campaigns support sustained visibility, audience attention, and awareness—creating strong pathways from exposure to consideration and engagement, while complementing the broader network-wide activations.
Together, the Chinese New Year activations highlight how festive storytelling, interactivity, and brand messaging can be embedded into familiar urban touchpoints. Spanning cultural installations, interactive formats, and client campaigns, the initiatives come together to create a cohesive festive presence across the network throughout the season.
